Geoffrey Rockwell Gives Talk at Science 2.0 in Hamburg

Dr. Geoffrey Rockwell  recently gave a talk at the Science 2.0 conference in Hamburg, Germany on “New Publics for the Humanities.” His talk looked at how citizen research or crowdsourcing has been used in the humanities to
engage new publics, using for example a developing project led by Dr. Andrew Piper to build a crowdsourcing tool for community social network tagging of passages in novels. You can read Rockwell’s live notes on the conference at http://philosophi.ca/pmwiki.php/Science2/0.
